Today, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) held its annual awards ceremony, where the best players of the year were honored.

The PFA also revealed its Team of the Year, featuring 11 of the top players from the past season. The lineup includes five players from Arsenal and four from Manchester City. The Team of the Year is as follows:

  • Goalkeeper: David Raya (Arsenal)
  • Defenders: Kyle Walker (Man City), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães (both Arsenal)
  • Midfielders: Rodri (Man City), Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard (both Arsenal)
  • Forwards: Phil Foden, Erling Haaland (both Man City), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

The award for Young Player of the Year went to Chelsea's star Cole Palmer, who scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in 33 Premier League matches last season.

The top honor of Player of the Year was awarded to Phil Foden, who scored 19 goals and registered 8 assists in 35 Premier League appearances.
