Perfect result. Portugal have won all official matches under Martinez's management

Yesterday, the Portugal national team successfully began their Euro 2024 campaign, snatching a victory against the Czech Republic. The Portuguese conceded first, but an own goal by Hranac and a goal from Francisco Conceição secured the three points.

This victory extended Portugal's incredible run. The Seleção has not lost a single point in official matches under the guidance of Roberto Martínez.

Portugal won all their qualifying round matches and started Euro 2024 with a victory. This streak now totals 10 matches.

However, it is worth noting that Portugal suffered defeats in friendly matches against Slovenia (0-2) and Croatia (1-2).

In the second round of the Euro 2024 group stage, Portugal will face tournament debutants Georgia, who started with a 1-3 loss to Turkey.

Roberto Martínez became the head coach of the Portugal national team after the resignation of Fernando Santos, under whom they lost to Morocco in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup. Prior to this, the Spanish coach managed the Belgium national team, Everton, Wigan, and Swansea.
