Perez and Sainz were involved in a serious crash during of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix


The Red Bull and Ferrari drivers were involved in a major crash during the most intense finale of the race in Baku.
Details: Oscar Piastri from McLaren was leading the race, while Charles Leclerc's Ferrari tires started to wear down in the last 10 laps, giving Perez a chance to break through. However, Sainz increased pressure on the Mexican driver.
When Perez attempted to overtake Leclerc, the defensive driving style of the Monegasque allowed his teammate to surge ahead, pushing Perez down to fourth place. But on the next straight, both drivers collided, leading to a serious crash and a hit into the wall.
Quote: Perez was furious and radioed, "What the hell is going on? Is he crazy? Total idiot!" Sainz also responded on the radio, expressing confusion: "What happened? I don't understand what happened."
Additional: After the crash, the safety car entered the track, allowing Piastri to win the race. McLaren's victory led to Red Bull losing their lead in the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship for the first time in two years.
