Pep Guardiola: "Other clubs would have sacked me for such results"

Pep Guardiola stated that at another club, he would have been sacked for Manchester City's poor results at the start of the season. The team endured a dreadful run of one win in 13 matches in November and December, which left them in seventh place at Christmas.

Guardiola explained that numerous injured players made the team vulnerable, and he acknowledges that he couldn't find the right solution in the difficult situation. He expected a dip in form after four consecutive championship titles, but not one this deep.

"At another club, I would definitely have been sacked," he said, adding that despite the difficulties, the Man City management continues to trust him.
