After a disappointing stint with AC Milan, Portuguese manager Paulo Fonseca has found a new club.

Details: According to Nicolo Schira, Fonseca will become the new head coach of Lyon. He has already agreed to a two-year contract with the "Les Gones."

Fonseca will replace Pierre Sage, who was dismissed yesterday.

The Portuguese coach previously worked in France, successfully managing Lille for two seasons. Last summer, he took over AC Milan but was sacked at the end of the year due to poor results in Serie A.

After 19 rounds, Lyon sits in sixth place in Ligue 1. The team has won just 1 of their last 5 matches and was also eliminated from the Coupe de France by fifth-division club Bourgoin-Jallieu.

Reminder: It was recently reported that Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund are interested in Lyon star Rayan Cherki.
