After being dismissed by Milan, Paulo Fonseca didn’t remain without a job for long. The Portuguese manager has already found a new club.
Details: Today, Fonseca was officially presented as the new head coach of Lyon.
The Portuguese coach has signed a contract with Les Gones until the summer of 2027.
Fonseca replaces Pierre Sage, who was dismissed after a series of poor results at the start of 2025.
The manager is no stranger to French football, having previously spent two seasons in charge of Lille.
Reminder: Yesterday, Lyon played to a 1-1 draw against Ludogorets in Matchday 8 of the Europa League, but still qualified for the Round of 16 by finishing sixth in the standings.
