Paul Pogba reunites with former Man United teammates at the Club World Cup
Paul Pogba, who remains a free agent, has traveled to the United States to watch the Club World Cup. While there, he even caught up with some familiar faces—his former Manchester United teammates, who are now playing for Argentina’s Boca Juniors.
Pogba shared a photo with the guys in his Instagram story. The picture shows him alongside Edinson Cavani, Sergio Romero, Ander Herrera, and Marcos Rojo. The Frenchman captioned the post, “So good to see my friends 🤗.”
Notably, Boca Juniors played their first match of the tournament today, battling to an exciting 2-2 draw with Portuguese side Benfica. Of Pogba’s friends, only Ander Herrera made an appearance, but he was on the pitch for just 20 minutes before being substituted due to injury.
It’s worth adding that Paul Pogba is now close to signing a contract with Monaco, which could finally see him return to action after nearly two years out through suspension.
