Paul Onuachu Stars as Trabzonspor Beat Galatasaray 2–1 in Title Race Clash

Paul Onuachu delivered an impressive performance to help Trabzonspor secure a hard-fought 2–1 win over league leaders Galatasaray in a thrilling Süper Lig encounter.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring with a well-taken header, converting a pinpoint cross from Wagner Pina. The goal takes Onuachu’s tally to an impressive 22 league goals this season.

Galatasaray responded early in the second half through Wilfried Singo, who brought the visitors back level.

However, Trabzonspor regained the advantage just after the hour mark, as Nwaiwu headed home from a well-delivered free-kick by Anthony Nwakaeme to seal the victory.

The result lifts Trabzonspor to second place on 63 points from 28 matches, just one point behind Galatasaray in the title race.
