Paul Onuachu Brace Fires Trabzonspor to Turkish Cup Glory Over Konyaspor

Paul Onuachu delivered a match-winning performance as Trabzonspor defeated Konyaspor to lift the Turkish Cup, securing their first major trophy in nearly a decade.

The Nigerian striker set the tone early in the final, opening the scoring in the 18th minute with a powerful and well-taken finish to put Trabzonspor in control.

Konyaspor fought back after the break, with Jackson Muleka finding the equaliser in the 50th minute to bring the game level. Moments later, they were handed a huge opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot, but Enis Bardhi failed to convert in the 58th minute.

Trabzonspor made their own chance count later in the match when they were awarded a penalty in the 79th minute. Onuachu stepped up once again and calmly converted to restore his side’s advantage and seal his brace.
