Paris FC has confirmed that major changes are on the horizon for the club.
Details: In an official club statement, it was revealed that the family holding of Bernard Arnault has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire a controlling stake in the club.
Austrian energy drink company Red Bull is also will become a minority shareholder in Paris FC.
Quote: "The Arnault family, with the support of Red Bull, aims to contribute to the establishment of the club's unique values and provide the necessary resources for its continued economic, civic, and sporting development. They are driven by a dual ambition: to sustainably position both the men's and women's teams among the elite of French football and in the hearts of Parisians," the statement reads.
Reminder: The new owners' goal for Paris FC is promotion to Ligue 1 by next season. They also aim to see the club compete in European competitions within a few years.
Paris FC currently sits in first place in Ligue 2 after eight rounds of matches.
In October, it was also announced that the legendary Jürgen Klopp became the head of football operations at Red Bull.
