Pape Thiaw praises Norway, Senegal’s World Cup opponent

The Teranga Lions’ manager considers the Norwegian national team to be the best in Europe at present.

Norway commands respect on the international stage, according to Pape Thiaw. At a press conference ahead of Senegal’s friendly against Gambia, the Senegalese manager was full of praise for Erling Haaland and his teammates. For him, there is no doubt about the quality of the Norwegian squad.

Norway is the best team in Europe. The Norwegian team needs no introduction, especially given the players the Norwegians currently have on the international stage. They are showing great promise, even though they lost their last match without their two star players.

In Group I, Senegal will face Norway and France at the World Cup scheduled for next summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
