Some new faces could feature in the Teranga Lions’ squad.
Senegal is preparing for its participation in the World Cup, which will take place this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But before travelling to the Americas, Senegal will find out next week who its representatives will be.
The list of players to be called up will be published on 21 May by the Lions of Teranga manager, Pape Thiaw, according to Dsports. Two players are also expected to receive their first call-up to the Senegal national team.
They are RC Lens defender Malang Sarr and the young Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye. Both players are reportedly already on Senegal’s preliminary list of 55 players sent to FIFA.
