Rumors continue to swirl around London’s Tottenham Hotspur regarding a potential change in ownership. Amid the team’s inconsistent performances, reports have surfaced that former Newcastle United co-owner Amanda Staveley is considering purchasing the North London club.
According to TEAMtalk, the 52-year-old multimillionaire may attempt to acquire the Spurs in the near future. If the deal goes through, she already has a managerial candidate in mind—Magpies’ boss Eddie Howe.
It remains unclear whether Howe himself is interested in a move to North London, and there are no guarantees that Staveley will indeed become the club’s new owner. However, Howe and Staveley have maintained a strong professional relationship dating back to their time together at St. James’ Park.
