Owen believes Alexander-Arnold's move to Real is a matter of time

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has long been the subject of transfer speculation. One recent rumor claims that Real Madrid made an informal inquiry about his transfer, which Michael Owen found to be a concerning signal.

Details: The former forward, who played for both clubs, reacted to the news of Real Madrid’s contact with Liverpool regarding Alexander-Arnold. Owen stated that he believes the move to Santiago Bernabéu is only a matter of time.

Quote: “The fact that Real Madrid has declared their intentions to sign Alexander-Arnold makes me believe his move to Real is just a matter of time. If he were planning to renew his contract, Real wouldn’t have made this public. Secret negotiations would have taken place. Big news,” Owen wrote on his X account.
