Over a month out: The extent of Rodrygo’s Injury revealed
Real Madrid's struggles with injuries continue this season, and today it was confirmed how long one of the team’s key players will be sidelined.
Details: According to Real Madrid’s official website, medical exams have revealed that forward Rodrygo sustained an injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his left leg during the recent 4-0 win over Osasuna.
Marca reports that the Brazilian forward is expected to miss 5 to 6 weeks, which means his earliest possible return could be near the end of the year.
Reminder: In the same match against Osasuna, both Lucas Vázquez and Éder Militão suffered injuries as well. Vázquez is expected to be out for a month, while Militão is out for the season due to a torn ACL.
Following the international break, Real Madrid will face Leganés, with a critical Champions League away game against Liverpool on November 27.
