The management policy at Nottingham Forest is anything but clear to the 54-year-old coach.

Details: Former Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche, speaking publicly for the first time about his sacking in a recent podcast, called the decision illogical and unfair.

Dyche believes Evangelos Marinakis rushed into such a drastic move:

“If you look at the statistics and the facts—even after that last game against Wolverhampton. At that moment, we were in ninth place in the Premier League.

The statistics and facts were obvious. Judging by my results, from the moment we arrived (in October) until the end of the season, we would have finished twelfth in the Premier League. So, based on the actual data and analysis, I can’t understand any of the decisions that were made. But football changes, and we’ve just witnessed that.” Dyche stated on The Football Boardroom podcast.

Sean Dyche was dismissed as Nottingham Forest head coach less than five months after his appointment. During his tenure, he oversaw 25 matches, recording 10 wins, 5 draws, and 10 defeats.

Currently, Dyche is without a job, while Nottingham Forest is now managed by Vítor Pereira.

Reminder: West Ham head coach Nuno Espírito Santo takes Nottingham Forest to court. What’s behind the dispute?
