Victor Osimhen opened his 2026/27 season in style with a brace, but Galatasaray were held to a 2-2 draw by Super Lig debutants Çorum FK.

The Nigerian striker broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute, collecting Lucas Torreira's looping pass before finishing into the bottom corner from a tight angle.

Çorum quickly turned the game around. Alexandros Kyziridis produced a stunning long-range strike in the 59th minute to score the club's first-ever Super Lig goal, before Jesús Ramírez capitalised on a poor back pass from Davinson Sánchez to make it 2-1 a minute later.

Çorum were reduced to 10 men in the 70th minute when Kyziridis was sent off for a foul on Yunus Akgün.

Galatasaray continued to push for an equaliser and eventually found it in the 90th minute. Osimhen rose to meet Gabriel Sara's corner and headed home his second goal of the game.

Despite late pressure from the hosts, Galatasaray could not find a winning goal, leaving Çorum with a memorable point on their Super Lig debut.
