Osimhen Hails Morocco’s World-Class Facilities Ahead of AFCON
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has praised Morocco’s organisation and top-tier football infrastructure as Nigeria prepares for upcoming fixtures in Rabat. The 26-year-old, currently in camp for the CAF World Cup qualifiers, said the country’s facilities and passion for football make it an ideal host for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Osimhen, who scored twice in Thursday’s semi-final win over Gabon, said he always enjoys playing in Morocco. “Morocco is truly a great football country… The level of infrastructure here is incredible… I am always very happy to come and play in Morocco, and I am convinced that the AFCON will be impressive given everything that is being put in place,” he said.
Morocco’s heavy investment in football has paid off in recent years, with the nation hosting major CAF events and achieving historic milestones on global stages.
