Osimhen Consoles Chukwueze and Ndidi After Family Tragedies

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has sent his condolences to Samuel Chukwueze and Wilfred Ndidi after both players recently lost their parents.

On Tuesday, January 7, reports confirmed that Ndidi’s father, Sunday Ndidi, died after being hit by a car in Umunede, near Agbor, Delta State. The Nigeria Football Federation reacted with sympathy, writing, “This is very sad… We are really shocked at the moment… but we earnestly pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. Sunday Ndidi…”

While Nigeria was still mourning, news broke on Thursday that Chukwueze also lost his mother after a brief illness.

Osimhen later posted a message of support online: “Dear brothers, Chukwueze and Ndidi, may God grant your parents eternal peace…”
