Orlando Pirates strengthen squad with new player from Zimbabwe

Orlando Pirates have decided to bolster their squad by signing a talented footballer from Zimbabwe. The transfer fee has been disclosed.

Details: According to iDiski Times, Andrew Phiri has joined Orlando Pirates and participated in training during the international break. However, a final decision on his transfer has not yet been made.

Interestingly, Phiri has a release clause agreed with FC MUZA, amounting to approximately 1.25 million rand, which is equivalent to 43,000 dollars. This can be activated if Pirates decide to acquire him.

Andrew Phiri is one of the most prolific and promising players. Over the past two and a half seasons, he has scored 33 goals in the league.

Previously, we reported that the Orlando Pirates management is keen to retain the head coach for the next season, but he has yet to give a definitive answer.

Reminder: One of the major topics for Orlando Pirates is the contract of Monnapule Saleng, who has been out of play for a long time. The club hopes he will return to the field.
