Orlando Pirates Pursue Moremi While Securing Mabasa’s Future

Orlando Pirates are pushing to sign AmaZulu’s in-form attacker Tshepang Moremi, who has attracted attention with nine goal contributions this season. The 24-year-old, known for his pace and creativity, has declined a new deal with AmaZulu, paving the way for a potential free transfer to Pirates in June. Negotiations are reportedly progressing as the Buccaneers look to bolster their squad for next season.

At the same time, the club has secured Golden Boot winner Tshegofatso Mabasa for another two years by activating a contract clause, keeping him until 2027. Despite this move, Pirates remain active in the transfer market, with Zambian striker Andrew Phiri among their targets as they seek to strengthen their attacking options further.
