Orbit College defeated Cape Town City to secure a place in the South African Premier League

In another match of the Relegation Group, Orbit College faced off against Cape Town City, and this clash proved decisive in determining which team would compete in the top flight of South African football next season.
The outcome of the match was settled by a single goal. In the 47th minute, Letsei Koapeng found the net. The hosts held on to their narrow lead and clinched a vital win, guaranteeing their place in South Africa’s elite division for the upcoming season.
Orbit College had previously defeated Casric Stars just a few days earlier, and now, following the victory over Cape Town City, they sit six points clear of second place. With only one game remaining, the result of that fixture will have no impact on the standings.
For Orbit College, this marks the first promotion to the South African Premier League in the club’s history.
