Onuachu Faces Possible Suspension Before Key Beşiktaş Clash

Paul Onuachu may miss Trabzonspor’s big game against Beşiktaş if he receives a yellow card in today’s Süper Lig match against Göztepe. Turkish league rules enforce a one-match ban after four bookings, and the Nigerian striker has already been cautioned three times this season.

Despite the risk, Onuachu remains in top form with 11 goals in 14 matches, leading the Golden Boot race ahead of Eldor Shomurodov. His performances have also earned him a place in Nigeria’s 54-man provisional squad for the 2025 AFCON, though he hasn’t played under Eric Chelle since June 2024.
