Only the second in history. Vardy saved Van Nistelrooy from his first defeat in the Premier League
In the 15th round of the English Premier League, Leicester hosted Brighton. This was the second match for Ruud van Nistelrooy as head coach of the home team, and once again, his side managed to avoid defeat in the final minutes.
The hero of the match was the ageless veteran Jamie Vardy. The Foxes were trailing 0-2 in the 86th minute when the 37-year-old striker took charge. First, he pulled one back after a pass from substitute Bobby Reid, and five minutes later, Vardy himself assisted Jamaican midfielder in scoring.
