The upcoming summer transfer window could prove pivotal for Marc-André ter Stegen. Barcelona's management is exploring options to offload several players, and despite his captaincy, the German goalkeeper might find himself among those departing the club.
Ter Stegen himself has already addressed the rumors, stating that he plans to stay in Catalonia for at least another season. Still, other clubs are closely monitoring his situation. According to Sport, Turkish giants Galatasaray have already initiated talks with Barcelona, inquiring about the possibility of terminating ter Stegen's contract so they can sign him without a transfer fee.
While Barcelona might be interested in such a move to cut down on the German's wages, the goalkeeper reportedly isn't ready for an early exit. He intends to see out his contract and remain at the club.
