One step closer to the championship. Real Madrid narrowly defeated Sociedad

Real Madrid traveled to face Real Sociedad in the 33rd round of La Liga on Friday, April 26.

In the first half, Los Blancos had less possession of the ball, but that didn't stop them from finding a moment to score. In the 29th minute, Arda Güler, assisted by Carvajal, opened the scoring in the match. At halftime, the teams could have gone in with a 1-1 draw, as Sociedad scored a goal in the 32nd minute. However, after reviewing the replays, it was disallowed due to offside.

In the second half, the match was evenly contested, with Real Madrid calmly controlling the situation and not allowing the Basques to equalize. Carlo Ancelotti's team secured a narrow 1-0 victory.

With this result, Real Madrid now has 84 points in 33 matches in La Liga and moves one step closer to the championship title. They currently have a 14-point lead over the second-placed team. Their next match will be at home against Cadiz on May 4. Before that, they have an away game in Munich for the UEFA Champions League semi-final match scheduled for April 30.
