One of the most boring fights. Stevenson became the world champion in three weight categories

In Las Vegas, on the night of November 17, a fight took place at the T-Mobile Arena in which the winner of the vacant WBC world lightweight title (up to 61.2 kg) was determined.

It was the American Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs), who defeated Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) from the Dominican Republic.

From the first round, it was clear that a spectacular fight should not be expected. The American fought and beat his opponent more often, but everything that happened in the ring did not suit the fans, who were constantly buzzing with displeasure at the boxers.

The Dominican managed to improve the situation a little in the fifth round, when he dangerously attacked Stevenson. At the same time, the fans continued to demand a fight and drama, but, as it turned out, they ended up in a chess tournament.

At the end of the fight, De Los Santos tried to escalate, but his attempts were not successful.
