One of the most legendary footballers in history, Ronaldo, made a rather unexpected statement.
According to the former striker of Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter Milan, PSV, and the Brazilian national team, he has stopped deriving pleasure from football. Ronaldo also professed his love for tennis.
"I think I love tennis more than football now. I can't watch football matches. It seems too boring to me. I can sit and watch tennis for five hours", Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Globo.
Previously, Ronaldo officially sold his majority stake in Cruzeiro, a club he once owned. He remains the president of La Liga newcomer Real Valladolid, but he plans to sell this club as well.
Ronaldo, the second-highest goal scorer in World Cup history, retired in 2011. His last club was Corinthians.
