Japanese striker Shinji Okazaki, who joined Leicester in the summer of 2015, has announced the end of his career at the conclusion of the season. The 37-year-old forward's last club was Belgian side Sint-Truiden, for whom he played 113 minutes in seven games this season but managed a goal.

In the championship season for Claudio Ranieri's team, the Japanese played 39 games, in which he scored six goals and two assists. For Leicester, including Okazaki scored his only goal in the Champions League, signing for Brugge on 22 November 2016.
