One Day International match. South Africa beat India

The fourth cricket encounter between South Africa and India this month was played at St George's Park Cricket Ground. This time it was a one-day international match.

After two consecutive defeats, victory was celebrated today by the South African team, who made just four runs more in the entire match and won by eight wickets.

This match was not the last in a series of face-to-face meetings between the rivals in December. A new game will be played in two days' time at Boland Park Paarl - it will again be a duel in a one-day international match.
