“Being denied a place at the World Cup was one of the hardest moments of my life. The World Cup only takes place once every four years, and everyone works hard to be part of it. The love and support I’ve received from all over the world have been incredible. I want to thank everyone who has supported me. I’m still watching the matches and I enjoy seeing my fellow referees do their job. The standard of refereeing at this World Cup is exceptional.”
