Ollie Watkins sets Aston Villa club record

In the 25th round of the English Premier League, Aston Villa hosted Ipswich at home. The match didn’t go as well for the hosts, even though they played the entire second half with a man advantage.
Ipswich defender Axel Tuanzebe earned two yellow cards in 40 minutes, leaving his team in a tough spot. However, this didn’t stop Ipswich’s top scorer Liam Delap from opening the scoring early in the second half.
Villa’s manager Unai Emery saw his side equalize on the 69th minute, with Ollie Watkins scoring again. According to the statistical website Opta Joe, the Englishman netted his 38th Premier League goal at Villa Park, becoming the club’s all-time top scorer at home in the competition.
Additionally, the England forward has now scored 12 goals and registered 10 assists in the current season.
