This victory marks Oklahoma's fifth-largest win in NBA history and the most significant in the franchise's history. The previous record was set in the 2012/13 season, when Oklahoma won twice with a 45-point margin.

Interestingly, the Thunder were also on the receiving end of the largest defeat in NBA history, suffering a 79-point difference against the Memphis Grizzlies in 2021 (73:152).

Oklahoma currently leads the Western Conference with a record of 26-11, while Portland sits in 14th place.
