Officially, Percy Tau Leaves Al Ahly for Qatari Club Amid Winter Transfer Window

Swiss coach Marcel Koller stated that South African attacker Percy Tau will be leaving Al Ahly for a Qatari club during the 2025 winter transfer window. He announced that Tau, one of the team's most notable players, would no longer be playing.

"Percy Tau is no longer part of Ahly. He has moved to Qatar and is currently playing there," Koller stated, although he refrained from disclosing the name of the Qatari club.

Koller also indicated that Al Ahly will be bringing in a foreign winger before the close of the transfer window to strengthen the squad for the remainder of the season. The team is well-prepared for the task despite persistent injury concerns, Koller said.
