Officially: Brendan Rodgers unveiled as Al-Qadisiyah manager
Brendan Rodgers found himself without a job earlier this autumn after Celtic decided to part ways with him following an underwhelming start to the season. However, he has now secured a new position.
Details: Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadisiyah have officially announced the appointment of Brendan Rodgers as the head coach of their first team.
The manager has signed a contract for two and a half years, running until 2028.
Al-Qadsiah currently sit fifth in the Saudi Pro League standings. The team have 17 points after nine rounds and trail the top three by five points.
Reminder: Liverpool’s 33-year-old winger Mohamed Salah recently held talks with former Reds captain and midfielder Jordan Henderson to discuss the realities of football in Saudi Arabia amid growing rumours of a potential move for the Egyptian star.
