Details: Xavi has reached an agreement to become the new head coach of the Netherlands national team. According to reports, the deal is fully finalized, and the agreement between the parties was signed today.
This means the Spanish tactician returns to coaching after a lengthy break and, for the first time in his career, will lead a national team.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Dutch Football Federation had already held talks with Xavi and was expected to make a final decision on the new head coach in the near future.
It is worth noting that the last club Xavi managed was Barcelona, where he was in charge from November 2021 to May 2024. With the Catalan giants, the Spaniard won both La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.
