Official: Tottenham land another star forward from Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur continue their major rebuild of the attacking line and are set to complete another big deal with the reigning English champions.

Details: Tottenham have reached an agreement with Manchester City over the transfer of 27-year-old Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush. The striker will join the club on an initial one-year loan deal, which includes an obligation to make the move permanent next summer. The financial terms of the agreement include a guaranteed payment of £50 million, with a further £10 million in bonuses.

Once the obligation to buy is activated, the Egypt international will sign a four-year permanent contract with the London club, with an option to extend for a further season. Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi sees the versatile forward as a key addition to strengthen the attacking line following the recent signing of Savinho.

Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City from German side Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 but faced fierce competition for a place in the starting line-up.

It is worth noting that during the 2025/26 season, the forward made 36 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. Authoritative website Transfermarkt currently values the player at €50 million.
