Thomas Frank and Tottenham have shaken hands.

Details: According to Spurs' official social media accounts, the Danish manager is now at the helm of the Lilywhites.

It is reported that Frank has signed a three-year contract, with further details to be announced soon.

Frank's previous club was modest Brentford, whom he first guided to promotion from the Championship to the Premier League, and then led to a respectable 9th-place finish in England's top flight last season.

Tottenham, meanwhile, had been searching for a new head coach after the dismissal of Ange Postecoglou, who, despite winning the Europa League, was unable to keep his position following a disastrous 17th-place finish in the Premier League.

Reminder: Brentford is preparing a replacement for Frank. Kieran McKenna is among the candidates.
