Official: Terem Moffi Joins Hamburg Permanently from Nice
Nigerian international Terem Moffi has officially completed a permanent move to German club Hamburg from French side OGC Nice.
Hamburg confirmed the signing of the 27-year-old striker, who leaves Nice after more than three years with the French club.
HSV sporting director Kathleen Krüger believes Moffi’s experience and qualities will strengthen Hamburg’s attacking options.
“Terem fits our approach extremely well. With his signing, we are making ourselves even stronger and more versatile in the centre-forward position, thereby increasing the quality of our squad,” said HSV director of sport Kathleen Krüger.
“His career to date has given him extensive experience at a high international level, which he can also pass on to our young talents. We are delighted that Terem is at HSV and warmly welcome him.”
Moffi leaves Nice after more than three years with the French club. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Portuguese side FC Porto, making 15 competitive appearances before returning to France.
