OFFICIAL: Tariq Lamptey Joins QPR on Free Transfer

Queens Park Rangers have officially completed the signing of Tariq Lamptey on a free transfer following the Ghana international's departure from Fiorentina.

After finalising the move, the 24-year-old expressed his excitement about joining the Championship club and the ambitions of the project.

"I'm excited for the opportunity ahead," Lamptey said.

"When I spoke to the gaffer and Christian (Nourry), the project was an encouraging one. The team have ambitious goals for this season, so I'm looking forward to it."

Lamptey becomes one of several new additions at Loftus Road this summer, joining Calum Ward, Boy Kemper, and Pierce Charles, who arrived on loan from Manchester City.
