Official: Sporting Lagos Sign Tamuno Kalio “Pedri” on Loan From Shooting Stars

Sporting Lagos have officially announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Tamuno Kalio, popularly known as "Pedri", from Shooting Stars SC on a season-long loan deal with an option to make the move permanent.

The 22-year-old will spend the 2026/27 season with the newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side as Sporting Lagos continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The club confirmed the transfer through an official statement on its social media channels, welcoming the talented midfielder to Lagos.

The loan agreement also includes an option to buy, allowing Sporting Lagos to secure his services on a permanent basis if he impresses during the upcoming season. Last season, he made nine appearances for Solution FC in the first round of the NNL, then added six more appearances for Shooting Stars mid-season
