Sporting Lagos have officially announced the signing of winger Chinedu Samuel from fellow Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Rivers United.

The exciting attacker joins the newly promoted club as Sporting Lagos continue to prepare their squad ahead of the 2026/27 NPFL season.

Samuel arrives after an impressive spell with Rivers United, where he made eight league appearances last season, registering four goals and three assists despite limited playing time.
