Official: Spain’s High Sports Council allows Barcelona to register Olmo and Pau Víctor
La Liga initially denied Barcelona the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. The Catalan club appealed the decision in court, and a ruling has now been made.
Details: Spain's High Sports Council (CSD) has officially allowed Barcelona to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. Furthermore, both players will be eligible to play in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday, January 8.
However, this decision is not final and does not guarantee that the players can represent the club for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. The CSD’s legal team has up to three months to thoroughly review the case and issue a final verdict.

Reminder: Barcelona is determined to fight for the registration of these players, as failure to do so would allow them to terminate their contracts with the club. Now, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold in the coming weeks.
