Official: Simon Adingra returns to Sunderland
His loan spell at Monaco has come to an end
The Ivorian forward will not be staying at Monaco once his loan spell is over.
Having arrived at Monaco in February during the winter transfer window on a season-long loan, Simon Adingra is returning to Sunderland. The French club has not retained the 24-year-old winger at the end of his loan spell.
Monaco officially announced Simon Adingra’s departure on Monday 29 June. The Ivory Coast international is therefore returning to his parent club in England, where he is under contract until 2030.
Since joining Monaco in February, Adingra has made 17 appearances in the French Ligue 1, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
