Official: Senegalese International Join Juventus on Season-Long Loan from Tottenham

Juventus has now officially confirmed the signing of Senegalese international player Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham on a season-long loan.

It should be recalled that yesterday, DailySport analyst reported that the two clubs have agreed on a deal that includes a loan move with a purchase option that will become mandatory if specific conditions are met. The condition becomes active only if two conditions are met: Juventus qualifies for the Champions League or the Europa League, with the Conference League not included, and Sarr plays in 50% of the matches available to him in all competitions this season.

Sarr joined Tottenham from French club FC Metz in August 2021 and went on to make 141 appearances for the North London side. During his spell with the North London club, the 23-year-old midfielder recorded 11 goals and 11 assists across all competitions
