Official: Schalke sign former Manchester City, Roma, and Inter striker Edin Džeko

Bosnian striker Edin Džeko is set to continue his career in Gelsenkirchen.
Details: Schalke's social media channels have officially announced that the 39-year-old Bosnian forward Edin Džeko has joined the German club as a free agent, signing a contract until the end of the current season.

This season, Džeko played for Fiorentina, making 18 appearances in all competitions and scoring two goals—both of which came outside Serie A. The experienced forward was mainly used as a rotation option.
Despite his age, Džeko remains a sought-after figure on the European market. According to Transfermarkt, his market value was estimated at €1.5 million.
It's worth noting that he previously played in Germany for Wolfsburg from 2007 to 2011.
