Official: Sabri Lamouchi appointed as new Tunisia head coach
The "Carthage Eagles" have found their new head coach following the dismissal of Sami Trabelsi.
Details: The Tunisian Football Federation has officially announced the appointment of Sabri Lamouchi as the new manager of the national team.
Lamouchi will be preparing Tunisia for the 2026 World Cup, where his squad will face Japan, the Netherlands, and the UEFA Play-off winner (Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, or Albania).
It is worth noting that Lamouchi is well acquainted with African football and already has experience at the national team level, having previously managed the Ivory Coast national team.
In addition, he has coached French side Rennes, England's Nottingham Forest, Wales' Cardiff City, Qatar's Al-Duhail, as well as Saudi clubs Al-Riyadh and Al Diriyah.
Reminder: Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly was unable to continue the Africa Cup of Nations match due to injury.
