Thus, Lukaku leaves the Italian club and will continue his career in Istanbul. Just yesterday, Napoli gave the green light for the deal after the parties reached a transfer agreement and the striker agreed on personal terms.
Last season, Romelu Lukaku barely featured due to fitness issues. During the 2025/26 campaign, the Belgian forward made just seven official appearances for Napoli, all as a substitute, and netted one goal.
Throughout his career, Lukaku has played for Anderlecht, Chelsea, West Bromwich, Everton, Manchester United, Inter, Roma, and Napoli. His most successful spells have come in Italy: he won the Serie A title with Inter, then lifted the Scudetto again with Napoli. In addition, Lukaku is the all-time top scorer for the Belgium national team.
Reminder: Green light from Napoli! Romelu Lukaku has chosen his new club.
