It's only September 18th, and Serie A has already witnessed its first major managerial dismissal of the season.
Details: AS Roma's management has officially decided to part ways with head coach Daniele De Rossi. This decision comes after a disappointing start to the season, with just 3 points from the first 4 Serie A matches.
The name of De Rossi's successor will be announced later.
De Rossi took charge of Roma in January this year, replacing José Mourinho. Initially appointed as interim head coach, his strong finish to the season earned him a two-year contract with the club.
Reminder: Former AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli was previously considered a favorite to replace De Rossi.
