A disappointing season in which Kaizer Chiefs failed to break into the top eight of the league, despite clinching the Cup, has prompted the Chiefs’ management to launch a squad overhaul that began immediately after the campaign ended.

Details: The Amakhosi press service has announced the departure of their homegrown talent, Sabelo Radebe. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder spent last season on loan at Richards Bay, where he clocked just 19 minutes across three matches. Kaizer Chiefs have wished their academy product success in the next chapter of his career.

Reminder: Radebe had been part of the Chiefs’ first team setup since 2021, but over those four years, he made only 18 appearances for Amakhosi, contributing just one decisive action. Earlier reports indicated that the Naturena giants have made significant progress in signing Polokwane City winger Oswin Appollis.
